The Lightforce 240 Blitz was the brand's first true long-distance light and the model that built its reputation for high performance and light intensity. This remote-mounted version runs a 12V 100W Xenophot bulb rated for around 2,000 hours, housed in a lightweight polycarbonate and glass-filled nylon composite build that keeps weight down without sacrificing durability. A Gore protective vent (rated IP57/67/68/IP69K) keeps moisture and contaminants out, so the lamp copes with genuinely wet, muddy field conditions rather than just fair-weather use. A clear spot clip-on polycarbonate filter is supplied as standard. A single unit weighs 880g (1lb 15oz), light enough for permanent vehicle mounting via the remote control unit while still delivering serious long-range throw for lamping foxes and other vermin after dark.
