The SAKO Gamehead is a traditional soft-point centrefire cartridge built for accurate, effective results on small to medium-sized game. Chambered in .243 Winchester and loaded with a 90-grain spitzer-nosed bullet, it combines a light jacket and non-bonded core to deliver rapid, controlled expansion on impact — transferring energy efficiently while keeping the trajectory flat and predictable out to field distances. At a muzzle velocity of 935 m/s, it hits hard enough for foxes, roe, sika and fallow when shots are placed correctly, and the traditional soft-point construction means it performs reliably across a wide range of impact velocities.
