The Grubs Frostline 5.0 is a full-length insulated wellington in Moss Green, built for field sports and outdoor work in cold, wet conditions. Its INSU-FOAM ULTRA™ 5.0 construction uses a self-insulating micro-cellular Chloroprene material — the same class of compound found in deep-sea drysuits — to keep feet warm and repel water across a temperature range of -10°C to 30°C. The SUPERDRI™ terry knit lining wicks moisture away from the foot and is fungus and rot proof, so it remains fresh far longer than cotton-lined boots. The upper is engineered to stretch and fit calves up to an additional 100% of the boot's nominal upper-calf diameter, accommodating a wide range of leg shapes. A 6mm NITROCELL™ footbed — filled with millions of microscopic nitrogen bubbles — cushions each step and insulates from cold ground, while HEXZORB™ technology absorbs heel-strike shock for comfort through long days on the hill or at the peg. The TRAX™ outsole delivers sure-footed grip on a variety of surfaces, from muddy gateways to rough moorland tracks.
