The Lightforce Venom 170mm is a 12V, 35W HID driving light built for serious night work off-road and on the track, whether you're running to a permission before first light or covering ground on a long stalk drive. Its shallow 25mm-format housing keeps the mounting envelope compact enough for modern SUV and 4x4 bull bars, while Hi-Tech corner LEDs add a distinct running-light signature and a measure of extra visibility to other road users. The German-engineered Osram ballast and bulb combination gives a rapid start-up to full brilliance and puts out a full-spectrum 4200K colour temperature, holding good contrast at long range — Lightforce quotes a 1360m beam at 1 lux for the 35W HID Venom. Genuine IP65 sealing with Gore protective vents (rated through to IP69K) keeps dust and water out, and the housing carries an ISO 2007 salt-spray corrosion rating for year-round outdoor use. It's also EMC approved with low radio interference, so it won't upset other vehicle electronics or OEM installations. Supplied complete with a clip-on clear spot filter; matching crystal-blue filters are available separately. This listing is for the 12V version — a 24V option is also made. Weight: 900g.
