Brilliant bit of kit

I’ve been looking at Ridgeline, Shooterking, and Seeland for a while to find the perfect jacket for dog walking, hunting, wearing down the pub, and not looking like a k-nob (which is difficult). This jacket is brilliant in every respect; comfortable, breathable, scuba-level waterproof, windproof, keeps temperature regulated, velcro bits down chafe, zipped up it doesn’t choke, pockets work like pockets not somewhere to drop keys from… All brilliant.

I’m 5’10, no 6-pack to speak of, and a Large fit me like a glove. Just for the hell of it I wore it for 24 hours straight on a camping weekend, and it felt weird taking it off.

The missus doesn’t mind it because it’s not camo. But in-her-face, cos I bought the Avail trousers as well in camo and a camo layer to go over this jacket. Yup. She can give me an earful, but she’ll never find me. Unless I go indoors, which I’ll have to do sooner or later. Getting pretty hungry actually. But not wet or cold, thanks to my Seeland Avail jacket. Boom.

You know what? I’m gonna say it. This is a perfect jacket.
