HWS® — Härkila Weather System — is not a generic membrane. It has been developed specifically for hunting and shooting use, which means it addresses the things that matter in the field: it is waterproof and windproof as you would expect, but it is also fully breathable to manage exertion heat on long walk-ins, genuinely low-noise in construction so it doesn't broadcast your movement through undergrowth, and built with full stretch throughout so that mounting a rifle or swinging a shotgun is never compromised by a jacket fighting against you.
