The Wapiti XP is Swazi's flagship high-performance rain jacket, built from a soft, three-layer AEGIS Watershield Whisper fabric that's exceptionally quiet in the field - a genuine advantage when stalking demands stealth as well as protection from the weather. It's 100% waterproof, windproof and breathable, rated to a 20,000mm waterhead with breathability of 10,000g/m2/24hr, so it copes with sustained hill-country rain without you cooking inside it. A long, 2-way YKK water-resistant zip lets you open the jacket from the top or the bottom for extra ventilation, while the zip-off hood has a stiffened, wired peak for good peripheral vision and effective water shedding. Storage runs to an internal waterproof chest map pocket, hand-warmer pockets and generous external 'wet' pockets with drainage eyelets and pop-out bistable struts for quick access to ammunition. Stretch inner cuffs paired with touch-tape outer cuffs keep sleeves in place, side vents free up movement when walking or climbing, and the whole jacket rolls into its own hood for stowing.
