The Amblers Safety AS708 is a ladies waterproof safety trainer built for site, yard and outdoor working across all weather. It carries a 200-Joule composite toe cap and a non-metallic anti-penetration midsole, so full EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 protection with WR, HRO and SRA ratings is achieved without any metal in the shoe. The leather and mesh upper is water resistant and lined with a breathable waterproof membrane, keeping feet dry without trapping heat, while a padded collar and bellowed tongue add comfort through a long day on your feet. A removable EVA footbed with memory-foam heel cushioning supports all-day wear, backed by an energy-absorbing heel and antistatic protection. The EVA/rubber outsole is slip resistant on wet, oily and uneven ground (SRA), resists fuel and oil, and is heat resistant to 300°C. Non-metallic construction makes it a sound choice anywhere a metal detector is in use — kennels, larder work, warehousing or general estate and countryside trade work — as well as for anyone who simply wants a lighter, cooler alternative to a steel-toe trainer.
