The Bestard Bengala Lady is the women's version of Bestard's robust, stable low-cut approach shoe, built for mid-mountain trekking, demanding terrain and moderate scrambling without being overkill for general hiking. Compared with a standard hiking shoe, it carries more protection and robustness plus a firmer, better-supported sole that holds its composure on steep or awkward ground. The upper is a water-repellent split leather and TPU construction with a padded collar and tongue for comfort, and a 360-degree TPU rand wraps the shoe for extra protection, strength and grip. An extended lacing system, finished with two different coloured laces, gives a secure, precise fit through the midfoot. Underfoot, a Bestflex 3 midsole sits on Bestard's Trail Tech 30 last, with a Vibram Pepe Shelter outsole in the Megagrip compound for serious traction, stability and shock absorption on technical ground. Bestard, the Mallorca-based mountain bootmaker with decades of experience supplying UK field sports, positions the Bengala Lady as a lighter, more agile option than a full boot for approach walking and rough terrain.
