The Bestard Speedwave Lady is the women's-fit version of Bestard's low-cut multipurpose walking shoe, built on the same X10 last but shaped for a narrower women's foot. The upper is a water-repellent air-mesh with a TPU toe cap for protection on rough ground, lined with Gore-Tex Extended Comfort for a waterproof, breathable fit. A flexible Bestflex 2 midsole and Vibram Bayu outsole give a comfortable, well-cushioned stride with good shock absorption, and at around 700g a pair (EU 38) it is noticeably lighter than a leather walking boot. It suits hiking, Nordic walking, speed-hiking and everyday wear, wherever a full boot is more support than the terrain calls for.
