The Muckster Lite is Muck Boots' lightweight take on the classic yard clog — a one-piece slip-on moulded from the brand's Bio Lite EVA foam, which the maker says is around 50% lighter than the original Muckster. There's no lacing to fuss with: step in, step out, and it's straight back on for the next trip to the kennels, stables or vegetable patch. It's 100% water-friendly and muckproof rather than fully waterproof — it shrugs off mud, wet grass and puddles and rinses clean, but side ventilation ports in the upper make this an open, breathable clog rather than a sealed boot, so it isn't meant for wading or standing water. Those same ports let water and debris drain away rather than pool inside, and a textured insole gives the foot some cushioning and support through a long day on your feet. The whole clog is hand-washable and quick-drying, so a hose-down or a wipe with soapy water is normally enough to get the mud off.
