This is the all-black take on Superga's 2750 Cotu Classic, with the canvas upper and the vulcanised rubber sole both finished in black rather than the usual contrast white sole - a cleaner, more stealth version of a shoe that's been an Italian wardrobe staple since the 1920s. The cotton canvas upper is breathable and unlined, so it wears in and softens rather than staying stiff, while the low-top, lace-up shape keeps things simple. Superga's usual detailing is all still here: a two-tone jacquard logo tag on the side, a logo-printed backheel and insole, and logo-engraved aluminium eyelets threaded with cotton laces. The sole itself is vulcanised natural rubber, chosen for flexibility and durability rather than cushioning - part of why the 2750 has stayed in production largely unchanged for a century. No animal-derived materials are used, so it's a vegan-friendly trainer. With everything from the upper to the outsole in black, it's an easy shoe to wear with dark denim, tailoring or all-black outfits without a contrast sole breaking up the line.
