Grey Sage brings a softer, greener grey to Superga's 2750 Cotu Classic, a quieter alternative to the brand's core black, white and navy options. As with every 2750, the upper is breathable cotton canvas, unlined so it eases into shape with wear rather than needing breaking in over weeks. The usual Superga detailing is all present: a two-tone jacquard logo tag on the side, a logo-printed backheel and insole, and logo-engraved aluminium eyelets carrying cotton laces. Below sits the vulcanised natural rubber sole the 2750 has used since the design was first developed in the 1920s - flexible rather than cushioned, which is part of why the silhouette has aged so well. There are no animal-derived materials in the shoe's construction, so it's a vegan-friendly trainer. Sage leans more towards a fashion shade than the brand's core neutrals, working well against warmer tones and pastels where a plain black or white trainer can look slightly harsh.
