The Superga 2790 is the brand's classic canvas silhouette reworked as a rope-sole flatform, and this White/Candy Multicolour colourway gives it a soft pastel finish. The upper is breathable cotton canvas, left unlined for a lighter, more casual feel than the standard sneaker build, and it sits on a woven multicoloured rope-sole flatform that lifts the foot around 4cm off the ground without adding real bulk. Superga branding runs through the detailing rather than shouting from it: a two-tone jacquard logo tag sits on the side, the insole and heel counter both carry the branded finish, and the lace eyelets are logo-engraved aluminium rather than plain metal. Cotton laces thread through in keeping with the rest of the build, and the sole itself is vulcanised natural rubber, the same construction Superga has used on the 2790 for decades, chosen for its flexibility and durability rather than for any technical performance. It's a casual, warm-weather shoe rather than outdoor or activity footwear - built for everyday wear, not rough ground - and the flatform sole gives a little extra height while keeping the silhouette close to the original 2790 shape.
