The A-Tec H3 is A-Tec's latest evolution in the Hertz series of rifle sound moderators, designed as the direct successor to the H2. Engineered in Norway for use on hunting rifles, the H3 operates on a modular system that gives you the option to run it as a 1-, 2- or full 3-module configuration — scaling sound reduction, weight and added barrel length to your specific requirement. The thread interface and diffusor are constructed from stainless steel; the modules are aluminium. This variant uses a 15x1 NS thread (M15x1 metric pitch), a specification encountered on a number of European hunting rifles, particularly those chambered in mid-bore calibres. Rated for .30 calibre cartridges — including .308 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield and comparable rounds — it also covers the range from .224 to .458, making it suitable across a wide spread of deer-stalking and hunting applications. In England, Wales and Scotland, sound moderators are Section 1 firearms and require a valid FAC variation to purchase or possess.
