Allen's folding shooting rest is the compact field rest that drops into a rucksack and gets a rifle steady on uneven ground when you don't have a bipod handy. Folds down to roughly the size of a paperback; opens out into a four-leg V-cradle that holds the forend at a useful prone or kneeling height (around 5.5 inches).
