The Amblers Safety FS161 is a hiker-style safety boot built for site and outdoor work where waterproofing matters as much as protection. It's certified to EN ISO 20345:2011 category S3 WR SRC, combining a steel toe cap rated to 200 joules of impact resistance with a steel midsole that guards against penetration from below to a minimum of 1100 newtons. The upper is full grain leather and mesh, backed by an internal waterproof breathable membrane that keeps water out while letting the boot breathe over a long shift. A cushioning midsole sits above a coloured rubber outsole rated SRC for slip resistance on wet, oily or uneven ground. Deep padding runs through the collar and tongue, with pull-on loops front and back for an easy fit, and speed lacing hooks paired with D-ring lace holds give a fast, secure lace-up. It's a practical choice for keepering, larder work, kennels and general estate or trade tasks where genuine certified safety protection is needed without losing the comfort of a hiking boot.
