The Amblers Safety Tyne is a PVC chest wader built to the EN ISO 20345 S5 SRA safety standard, aimed at fishery work and any job that puts you into deep or hazardous water. A 200J steel toe cap and a steel penetration-resistant midsole protect the foot from impact and sharp objects underfoot, while front, ankle and heel deflectors guard against falling debris. The SRA-rated sole is also fuel-oil-resistant, giving secure grip on wet, oily or chemically contaminated ground, and the anti-static, energy-absorbing heel adds comfort and control over a long shift. The 100% waterproof upper carries a reinforced knee for durability where the wader flexes hardest, and the mesh-and-polyester inner lining is rated to handle temperatures down to -20°C. Built in UK sizes 4 to 13, the Tyne measures 127cm around the chest on sizes 4-8 and 134cm on sizes 9-13, with a correspondingly longer leg on the larger sizes. It's a genuine safety wader rather than a standard fishing or field wellington, so it suits river keepers, fishery staff, ghillies and anyone else working long hours in deep or hazardous wet ground where underfoot protection matters as much as staying dry.
