The H&N Baracuda 18 is a domed, lead diabolo pellet designed for .22 calibre air rifles, built to match-grade tolerances in a medium weight that sits squarely between H&N's heavier Baracuda Match and the lighter Field Target Trophy. Weighing 18.13 grains (1.175 g), the Baracuda 18 delivers the mass needed for reliable terminal performance on medium game and bird quarry — fox, hare, duck and pheasant — while remaining flat-shooting enough for clean, accurate work out to 50 metres. Head size is 5.52 mm and the pellet is rated for sub-12 ft/lb air rifles. Each production batch is subject to strict quality control: weight tolerance is held to ±0.25% and every batch must group 20 shots within 21 mm centre-to-centre at 50 m on a 50 m indoor range before it is approved for release. A special surface treatment cleans manufacturing residue, slows oxidation and reduces lead abrasion. Supplied in a tin of 200.
