- Depicts a classic high driven pheasant in flight — a favourite subject among field-sports collectors
- Cold cast bronze construction: resin bonded with real bronze powder, finished with a traditional patina
- Made entirely by hand in the UK
- Captures fine feather and wing detail true to hand-finished bronze casting
- Suits a gun room, study or mantelpiece display
- A considered gift for a shooting enthusiast or driven-game fan
- Part of the wider Patina bronze field-sports sculpture range
The High Bird captures one of driven pheasant shooting's classic images: a gamebird pushed high and fast overhead, wings swept back in flight. Part of Patina's range of field-sports sculptures, it is cast in cold cast bronze — a resin bonded with genuine bronze powder and finished with a traditional chemical patina, giving the surface the colour, weight and character of solid foundry bronze at a more accessible price. Each piece is made entirely by hand in the UK, so detailing in the feathers and the line of the wings has the crispness you'd expect from a hand-finished casting rather than a mass-produced ornament. It's a natural fit for a gun room, study or mantelpiece, and makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who shoots driven game or simply appreciates well-observed sporting art. As with any cold cast piece, keep it indoors or under cover and dust with a soft cloth — it isn't intended for permanent outdoor display. A quiet, well-made addition to a shooting collection rather than a piece of kit for the field itself.
