The H&N Slug HP brings slug-style accuracy to the growing world of high-power PCP air rifles. Designed for shooters who need consistent performance at ranges well beyond 50 metres, these .25 calibre hollow-point slugs measure 6.34 mm in diameter and weigh 30 grains — a heavier projectile that retains energy downrange far better than conventional wadcutter or domed pellets. A high ballistic coefficient produces a notably flat trajectory, making target placement more predictable at extended distances. Each slug is coated with a special lubricant that reduces barrel friction and keeps fouling to a minimum. The hollow-point nose aids expansion on impact, making these a considered choice for pest control where terminal performance matters. Suitable for airguns producing a minimum muzzle energy of 16 J (approximately 11.8 ft/lb), they are intended for PCPs running at legal UK sub-12 ft/lb with a FAC variation or above.
