S55854
- One-piece Parker-Hale rifle cleaning rod for regular home or field maintenance

- Ball-bearing handle spins freely so attachments follow the barrel's rifling for a thorough clean
- Red handle denotes the small-calibre rod, for .22 rifles
- Female thread fits popular American-pattern brushes and jags rather than Parker-Hale's own male thread
- Brass fittings at the working end resist corrosion
- Overall length approximately 39.5in, handle included
This Parker-Hale one-piece rifle cleaning rod is built around a hardened and tempered steel core, wrapped in a tough acetate coating that stops the rod marking or wearing the bore as you clean. A ball-bearing handle lets the rod spin freely in your hand, so whatever brush, jag or patch you have fitted follows the rifling rather than fighting against it for a more even clean down the barrel. The red handle marks this out as the small-calibre rod, suited to .22 rifles, and it's fitted with a female thread rather than Parker-Hale's own male pattern, so it takes the popular American-thread brushes and jags many stalkers already have in their kit rather than needing Parker-Hale-specific attachments. Brass fittings at the working end resist corrosion with regular use. Supplied as a single rigid rod rather than a take-apart design, it runs to roughly 39.5in overall, handle included, so it's best suited to rifles with barrels that fall comfortably within that reach. A straightforward, durable piece of maintenance kit for anyone who looks after their own rifle.
