Bore Tech's V-Stix is a one-piece coated rifle cleaning rod, built as a value-priced alternative to the brand's flagship Proof-Positive Bore Stix while keeping the same core construction. An enhanced steel core is wrapped in a durable, chemically resistant coating that resists bow and flex and won't soften and let bore debris embed in it. The free-floating, ball-bearing handle is sized to sit comfortably in the hand without catching on a rifle stock, and is colour-coded black to mark this out as the .22 calibre to 6.5mm rod at a glance. A replaceable brass tip with an 8/32 female thread takes standard jags and brushes with no separate adapter needed. This is the 25" working-length version — Bore Tech measures working length from tip to handle, not overall length — the shortest in the .22-6.5mm range and best suited to short-barrelled rifles and carbines cleaned from the breech, where a longer rod would leave too little handle stroke once the tip reaches the muzzle. Use with a bore guide to keep the rod centred and protect the crown and chamber while cleaning.
