Parker-Hale cleaning rods use a female thread at the working end, as do most American-made cleaning brushes and jags. Without an adaptor the two simply will not connect. This double male adaptor from Parker-Hale bridges that gap: thread one male end into the female tip of your Parker-Hale rod, and the other male end accepts any American-threaded brush, jag or patch holder. The result is a clean, solid connection with no play that could let a patch snag or a brush skew inside the bore. It is sized for smaller centrefire and rimfire calibres from .22 up to 6mm, covering the popular .22 LR, .223 Remington and 6mm rounds used across target shooting and vermin control. If you have built your rod set around Parker-Hale and pick up American brushes — which are widely available and often better value — this is the piece that makes the two systems work together. Small, light and inexpensive, it is worth keeping a spare in the cleaning kit.
