The Lee Chamfer and Deburring Tool is a hardened steel hand tool designed for cartridge case preparation after trimming. Trimming leaves burrs on both the inside and outside of the case mouth that must be removed before seating a bullet — rough edges can tear jacketed bullets or prevent proper neck tension on cast projectiles. Lee's unique double-ended design handles both operations in a single tool: one end chamfers and deburrs the outside of the case neck, the other works the inside, and a single turn of the tool is all it takes. The cutter geometry is designed to work without chatter, giving a clean, consistent bevel every time. The tool also removes the annular crimp found in military primer pockets, allowing re-priming of once-fired military brass without a separate swager. It accommodates case diameters up to 0.570 inch on the outside chamfer, making it suitable for cartridges from small pistol to 50 BMG. A no-fuss, affordable addition to any hand-loader's bench.
