Great knife

I bought this knife mainly for preparing rabbits and gutting rainbow trout, took delivery and the very same day I was offered a deer so obviously I didn't say no ha, so a great test for my new knife, I came razor sharp out the box so I had no trouble gutting and skinning the deer the knife made very quick work of it, after the first stages the blade did blunted off slightly so I'm assuming it's soft metal, this was no problem though as I give if a quick run through my sharpener then went onto the butchering part and again this knife made it so easy to do, so if you're looking for a cheap knife that actually gets the job done really well I'd highly recommend buying one. 👌👍

Gutting knife

This is a good product for the money. The handle is moulded to the blade so there are no nooks and crannies for blood and tissue to get caught in making thorough cleaning very easy.
The blade has a nice shape to it and the handle fits into the hand well.
You will need to sharpen the blade before first use, I found that the blade is made of soft steel (hence 4 not 5 stars) so be prepared to regularly sharpen it. You can easily get an edge that is sharp enough to shave with but be careful not to use a sharpener that is too aggressive or you will eat away the blade.
