The Gerber Exo-Mod Bone Saw is a compact, full-tang saw for the jobs a knife cannot do — splitting the sternum or pelvis when gralloching a deer, or working through bone when breaking down a carcase in the larder. Crosscut bone saw teeth bite cleanly and clear waste as they cut, while the skeletonised full-tang construction gives the strength of a one-piece tool at a weight of just 74 g (2.6 oz). At 19.2 cm (7.55 in) overall it has a slender profile that rides easily on the hip or in a pack pocket, and the blaze orange grip is simple to spot when you set it down on the hill or the bench. The snap-together sheath protects the teeth in transit and clips to the sheaths of the other tools in the Exo-Mod series — the Caper and the Drop Point — so you can nest a complete field-dressing kit and carry only what the day calls for. Backed by Gerber's limited lifetime warranty.
