- Hollow-point tip with deep cavity positions centre of gravity for stable flight
- Designed for rifles producing over 29.5 ft-lbs muzzle energy

- H&N's most accurate slug design — improved on earlier Slug HP models
- Tin of 50 slugs
The H&N Slug Precision departs from the traditional diabolo pellet shape, adopting a bullet-form profile that delivers a significantly higher ballistic coefficient and far superior performance at extended range. Designed for powerful PCP air rifles producing more than 29.5 ft-lbs of muzzle energy, these .218 (5.53mm) lead slugs weigh 33 grains and are capable of accurate shooting out to 100 metres and beyond. The hollow-point cavity is precisely engineered not only to aid expansion but to position the centre of gravity at the ideal point for in-flight stability — a key factor in consistent accuracy at distance. H&N developed the Slug Precision to sit above their existing slug range, offering more reliable accuracy than earlier designs. Sold in a tin of 50, they suit hunters and long-range air-rifle shooters running regulated PCPs in .22 calibre where tight groups at distance are the priority.
