Nice to see the zip has been beefed wouldn't buy anything else

Great Jacket warm and waterproof and good fit with useful pickets and a rather mad high viz slash but overall very impressed and much better than the Schoeffel it replaced

Pros -
1. Very good mid weight jacket which is wind & waterproof but not overly insulated making it suitable for autumn, winter & spring by varying the layers worn underneath.
2. Excellent cut & fit across the shoulders gives good freedom of movement for shooting regardless of how much or how little you are wearing underneath.
3. Slightly longer than standard sleeves with Velcro cuffs work well to keep wrists covered & warm without restricting movement.
4. Left chest pocket is excellent for mobile phone as it sits fairly high & material does not muffle sound.

Cons -
1. Main zip starts very low down which becomes restrictive when bending over to pick things up due to the straight cut of the jacket.
2. When opening the 2 way zip from the bottom (in order to prevent the above issue) it consistently snags on the adjacent material & has to be freed off.
3. Waist adjustment cord runs from front left to front right so when tightened it pulls in on top of the hand warmer pocket linings. (this could have been avoided by running it from left side to right side & tightening across the back only).
4. Fleece liner (which is laminated to the goretex) is fairly ’grippy’ & gives substantial resistance to pulling on sleeves. Once the jacket is on this gives no further issues.

The coat is amazing and came very quickly.
