The Harkila Visent trousers in Hunting Green are built for the long, cold days of winter stalking, sitting in a high seat or waiting out quarry from a hide. A two-layer GORE-TEX membrane makes them fully waterproof and windproof while still breathing, so you stay dry from both the weather and your own exertion on the hill. Behind that membrane sits 120g Thinsulate Platinum insulation, holding warmth through hours of inactivity when the temperature drops. The detachable bib and braces carry a dedicated pocket for a heat pad, giving you extra warmth across the lower back on the bitterest days, and the bib can be removed entirely when you want a standard trouser. Every zip is waterproof, and a two-way zip runs along each leg for ventilation and easy access. An extra wedge at the bottom of the leg opens out to fit comfortably over large winter boots, and the brushed tricot face fabric stays soft and quiet against cover so you can move on deer without giving yourself away.
