The Hi-Tec Bandera II Wide Fit is an entry-level waterproof walking boot built for men with wider feet, equally at home on a country footpath or an afternoon dog walk. The upper combines suede with mesh panels, giving a durable, abrasion-resistant boot that still breathes well, while Hi-Tec's Dri-Tec waterproof membrane keeps feet dry underfoot and in wet grass or light rain. A versatile lacing system draws up for a secure, snug fit across the wide (E-width) last, cutting down on foot movement inside the boot as you cover ground. Underfoot, a removable moulded EVA footbed adds cushioning you can swap out as needed, sitting above a compression-moulded EVA midsole with a supportive shank that keeps the boot flexible yet stable on uneven paths. The M-D Traction rubber outsole is designed to grip on both the climb and the descent, whatever the going underfoot. It's DofE recommended, which reflects its focus on reliable, no-fuss comfort for shorter walks and everyday countryside use rather than serious multi-day hillwalking.
