The durable Oxford Nylon fabric of our Gaiter has a PU coating which reinforces the fabric as well as ensuring it is waterproof and resistant to such as brambles and gorse. With a full length zip down the front completely sealed by the hook & loop storm flap, a combination of steel and sturdy rubber gives these gaiters a strong under boot strap and boot hook to keep them securely in place and working hard.

look and feal sturdy but when tightening adjuster on one it came apart. have sown it back in place and will see how it goes

Time will tell

Came home with half a dozen ticks embedded in me again so I ordered this repellent after it was recommended by a friend, another friend was diagnosed with Lymes disease earlier this year and is really ill despite months of treatment. After hearing about it the other friend had found this repellent and he and his wife have been using it since the spring time and neither has had a tick bite since. Time will tell and I wouldn’t have written a review so soon but I was dealing with some hinds that had a heavy tick burden yet I found no ticks on me that evening when I got home so it seems very promising. Even just reducing the risk is definitely worth the cost of the repellent because in the case of Lymes I can assure you that prevention is definitely better than the cure!
