The Hoggs of Fife Munro Classic W/P Hiking Boot is a serious leather walking boot built for a full day on the hill, whether that's a long hike in the Cairngorms or a shorter outing with the dog. The full grain waxy leather upper, finished in Crazy Horse Brown, has a full bellows tongue and few stitched seams for genuine water resistance, backed up by a ULTDRY waterproof and breathable membrane to keep feet dry without overheating. Underfoot, a superior Vibram rubber outsole gives proven grip and durability on rough or wet ground, while a full mid-sole plate adds rigidity when crossing uneven terrain. The removable cushioned insole includes extra pressure-point inserts at the ball of the foot and heel for comfort over distance, and lacing runs through an antiqued brass D-ring system for a secure, adjustable fit. A well-specified, waterproof leather boot that's equally at home on a highland stalk or a country walk.

Excellent product

My boots arrived very quickly - my order was trackable form the moment it was acknowledged. Boots are very well made and finished, A little heavier than I had expected, but this is certainly down to the stiffness of the sole which is as it should be. I am sure that I wll need to break these in a little, but already after only a few days and only a couple of miles per day they are getting more and more comfortable. I am very pleased with my choice and with the boots, which are excellent.

Traditional values

Was looking for an old-fashioned leather hiking boot, and these caught my eye. Very quick delivery from Bushwear. First impressions were that the boots were a bit heavy and not quite as comfortable out of the box as some others. As I used them, I liked them more and more. All I hoped for: very durable (no sign of any wear or cracks 8 months on), comfortable and supportive, completely waterproof. A really excellent boot and great value for money.
