Hull Cartridge's Superfast Pigeon LR is a 12 bore cartridge built for long-range decoying and flightline work. It carries a 32 gram load of No. 5.5 lead shot over a biodegradable fibre wad, giving a suggested velocity of 1425 fps for genuine reach and knock-down power on pigeons at distance. The 2 3/4" (70mm) case is loaded with Hull's single-based powder, chosen for a smooth, efficient burn that keeps recoil manageable through a day in the hide, and finished with a reliable CX primer and a weather-resistant six-star crimp for consistent ignition in the field. The cartridges are semi-automatic friendly, cycling cleanly through gas and inertia actions as well as breaking easily in over-and-unders and side-by-sides. Hull's lead shot is drawn from recycled sources and held to tight spherical tolerances, so pellets fly true and pattern densely rather than straggling off target. The fibre wad is a more eco-friendly option than plastic, breaking down naturally where plastic wads persist.
