The Country Cross is Le Chameau's everyday boot with a wider, sporting calf for a more generous fit around the leg. It is handcrafted from start to finish by a Le Chameau master bootmaker in the brand's signature Chamolux natural rubber, and every pair is rigorously tested to make sure it is 100% waterproof. A 3mm neoprene lining gives excellent insulation, and Le Chameau rates it for keeping feet warm between -15°C and 0°C, so this is the Country Cross to choose for winter. The wider calf leaves room for thicker trousers or a broader leg. Underfoot, a shock-absorbing, dual-density Cross outsole is suitable for all terrains, from frozen fields and muddy gateways to forestry tracks. A warm, practical boot for farm work, shooting days and winter walks. Neoprene insulates well but is not breathable, so in warm weather or on long, active days your feet may perspire; dry the lining thoroughly if it becomes damp.
