This is Lee's updated Folding Primer Tray kit for the Auto Prime XR and Ergo Prime hand priming tools. It replaces the earlier round trays with a folding tray design, plus new-style small and large primer adapters, so the priming tool takes today's larger primer boxes without primers tipping or jamming. The folding tray has a built-in flipping feature that lets you tip a fresh box of primers straight in and orientate them the right way up, ready for priming, rather than placing them by hand one at a time. Fitting is straightforward: the small and large adapters and the folding tray swap onto the existing Auto Prime XR or Ergo Prime body in place of the old parts. This update kit is specifically for tools built for the folding-tray design and will not fit the original round-tray Auto Prime tool, so check which priming tool you own before ordering. A useful, low-cost way to bring an older Auto Prime XR or Ergo Prime up to Lee's current tray design without buying a whole new priming tool.
