The Lee 204 Ruger Factory Crimp Die is a rifle die that crimps the bullet in place after seating. Lee says a firm crimp holds the bullet in place more firmly than other methods and that even bullets without a crimp groove shoot more accurately, because pressure has to build higher before the bullet moves, giving a more uniform pressure curve and less velocity variation. It is a final-stage die and is used with your existing sizing and seating dies for the 204 Ruger.
