The Lee Factory Crimp Die for the .30-40 Krag is a separate crimping die for use after seating. It grips the bullet firmly in the case neck, helping pressure build more evenly and reducing velocity variation, and it works on bullets with no crimp groove. A sensible choice for the older Krag rifles, whose magazines can limit how far out the bullet can be seated.
