The Lee 300 AAC Blackout Factory Crimp Die is a rifle die that crimps the bullet in place after seating. Lee says a firm crimp holds the bullet in place more firmly than other methods and that even bullets without a crimp groove shoot more accurately, because pressure has to build higher before the bullet moves, giving a more uniform pressure curve and less velocity variation. Use it as the final stage after your sizing and seating dies.
