This Lee Factory Crimp Die is listed for the .338 Winchester Magnum, as well as the .338-06 A-Square and .338-06 Ackley Improved. It is used after the bullet is seated and holds the bullet firmly in the case neck, which helps resist recoil and gives a more uniform start pressure. It works on bullets with no crimp groove. Sold as a single die, it is used together with your own sizing and seating dies, and can be adjusted to suit the crimp you want.
