This Lee assembly combines a micrometer seater adapter with a carbide factory crimp die for the .38 Special and .357 Magnum. With the adapter fitted, a single die can seat the bullet and crimp the round, with micrometer adjustment of seating depth. That can free up a station on a progressive or turret press. The carbide ring sizes the loaded round as it crimps, so no case lubricant is needed.
