The Lee Taper Crimp Die for .38 Special and .357 Magnum is a separate crimping die for straight-walled pistol cases. It removes the flare from the case mouth and applies a taper crimp, which is useful for semi-auto and revolver loads alike. Using a dedicated crimp die also means the bullet can be seated and crimped in two separate stages, giving you better control of both.
