The Lee Carbide Factory Crimp Die for the .38 Super and .38 ACP sizes the loaded cartridge while applying a taper crimp, so each round chambers freely. The amount of crimp is easy to adjust with the screw, and the carbide ring means you do not need case lubricant. Trim length is not critical, which saves a step. It is sold as a single die and is used alongside your own sizing, expanding and seating dies, keeping seating and crimping as separate steps.
