The Lee Carbide Factory Crimp Die for the .40 S&W and 10mm Auto sizes the finished cartridge while crimping it, helping each round chamber freely. It applies a taper crimp with an easily adjusted screw, and the carbide ring removes the need for case lubricant. Because trim length is not critical, it also saves time on the bench. It is sold as a single die and is used alongside your own sizing, expanding and seating dies, keeping seating and crimping as separate steps.
