The Lee Collet Style Factory Crimp Die for the .44 Magnum uses a collet to apply a rifle-type crimp to the case. It makes cartridges that are hard to crimp much easier to reload, and bullets do not need a crimp groove because the collet forms one. Lee also lists it for the .44 Special. It suits hard-recoiling magnum revolver and lever-action loads.
