This Lee Carbide Factory Crimp Die is for the .44 Special, .44 Magnum and .44 Russian. It sizes the loaded round as it crimps so each cartridge chambers freely, and it applies a roll crimp, which suits revolver ammunition. The crimp is set with an adjusting screw, and the carbide ring means no case lubricant is needed. Sold as a single die, it is used with your own sizing, expanding and seating dies, and keeps seating and crimping as separate operations.
