This Lee Factory Crimp Die is made for the .45-70 Government and the .450 Marlin. It crimps the bullet firmly into the case neck after seating, which is helpful with heavy loads in lever-action and single-shot rifles. It helps give uniform start pressure and works with bullets that have no crimp groove. It is sold as a single die and is used together with your own sizing and seating dies, with the crimp adjusted to suit your load.
