This Lee Carbide Factory Crimp Die is for the .45 Colt, .454 Casull and .460 S&W Magnum. It sizes the loaded cartridge while crimping, so every round chambers freely, and it applies a roll crimp, which suits big-bore revolver loads. The amount of crimp is set with an adjusting screw, and the carbide ring does away with case lubricant. It is sold as a single die and is used with your own sizing, expanding and seating dies, keeping seating and crimping as separate operations.
