This Lee Taper Crimp Die suits the .45 Colt and .454 Casull. It takes the flare out of the case mouth and applies a taper crimp once the bullet has been seated, so seating and crimping can be handled in two stages. A dedicated crimp die gives you independent control of both operations when loading these big-bore revolver cartridges, and a consistent finish to the case mouth from round to round.
