The Lee 45 Colt Collet Style Crimp Die uses a collet to apply a rifle-type crimp to the case. Lee says it makes cartridges that are very difficult to crimp a delight to reload. The bullets do not need a crimp groove, as the collet is powerful enough to form one. It is a final-stage die used once the bullet has been seated.
